This remedy consists of two basic ingredients found in every household: Salt and Sugar.
Not many of you are aware but these simple ingredients are crucial for maintaining our health. They can regulate the stress hormones and provide the necessary energy for the body. The glucose provides a fuel for the mitochondria while the sodium balances the intercellular fluids, resulting in proper respiration and energy generation.
Moreover, sugar signals the metabolism to stop releasing stress hormones while salt maintains homeostatic state, controlling the adrenaline levels. They both prevent the “hyperactive” state of the metabolism.
So, in order to prepare this miraculous “sleep dust”, you will need:
- 2 tablespoons pink Himalayan sea salt
- 2 tablespoons organic brown sugar
- 5 tablespoons of honey
